    My next brew will be Courage stout,recipie is surcumspect as this was a partygyle brew from the 1900's.Recipe taken from Berkley Perkins blog.
    Pale malt 585 grms
    Brown malt 138 grms
    Black malt 75 grms
    Oats 15 grm
    Brown sugar 50 grm
    Amber malt extract 15 grm
    Goldings pellets 8 grm at 60 min
    Goldings pellets 4 grm at 15 min
    1/4 protofloc tablet at 15 min
    Gervin yeast re hydrated.

    5 litre brew 2.75 litre dunk sparge 60 min boil
    OG 1038 FG 1008 abv 4.1% IBU 31.82 SRM 31.47
