Completed Brew Session

How do I "complete" a brew session? I have finished an APA and would like to make changes to the recipe without it changing the recipe for a particular brew session. Is there a way to finish a brew session, so that I can make the adjustments without screwing with the original recipe.

copy the recipe and save it to another name is the easiest way, another way is to create a snapshot of the original recipe but that can get confusing
