Is there a site to look at that explains the effects that certain additives have on the flavor changes or just general changes in your beer? I understand all the PH changes
What does Ca+2 do to flavor or Mg, Na+ Cl- SO4-2 or gypsum etc.

I recently wrote a three part series on water, which includes a detailed explanation of all the ions we commonly use in brewing. This is part III which gives a general overview of them: https://www.brewersfriend.com/2018/02/13/brewing-water-basics-putting-it-all-together/

Let me know if that helps (or not), and I can give more info. I tend to overwhelm people with my chatter about things, so I tried to be concise here as to not give information overload. I can definitely give more info if you'd like!
