Brewersfriend vs BruNWater pH

Inputting all of the same variables, I get very different pH values between the two. 5.3 from Brewersfriend vs 4.85 from BruNWater. Any thoughts?

weird ..... uh, did you check to see you're using all of the correct units and measurements? quarts vs. gallons? sparge water vs. mash water? different sources of water for mash and sparge?

Pretty big difference considering the buffering power of the mash .
So far I've been finding the BF calcs pretty close on my test strips (will buy a pH meter )

this has been asked before with other spreadsheets, all I can say is that brewers friend goes into more detail with your defaults and has detailed fermentables for every type of grain, most spread sheets are based on one generic setting and not as thorough as us
