(ANSWERED) Honey

    I see that there is an option to add honey in the fermentable drop down box. However, when I use honey it usually goes in at 5min or at flame out in the boil. And if I add it this way, I don't get a good calculation on what the OG might be. Help!!

    The OG calculation is accurate, since it is additional sugar going into the wort. It doesn't matter when the sugars are added for the purposes of OG, just that they are all added before the wort is added to the primary fermenter right before yeast is pitched.

    Check the 'late addition' checkbox to reflect it is being added later in the process.
