Any thoughts on Bottling the popular 16oz Coors, Budlight, ect. Aluminum bottles reusing the caps they seem to reseal tight.

Worst that can happen is you spew beer over the floor when the seals fail. Give it a try!

GRENADE!!!!!

Just kidding. Like Nosy said give it try. You could try a handful at first, if it works you could do more next time.

I've done it several times, worked well, sometimes had a problem getting it to reseal good enough.

That was the issue I feared: Those lids are not made for multiple uses.

I have had excellent results using the 16 oz plastic Coke bottles. I use these when I want to give out beer and not worry about getting the bottle back.

Warm the lid/cap to reset the seal dimensions, hot tap water is sufficient. cap it with the seal warm for good compliance, screw it on tight.

The plastic seal gets deformed, and warming it lets it expand a little again, improving your chances.
