Is this the clarity that you are looking for ? No filter but a recirculating HERMS set up, home made works perfectly.

I free style my hop additions and only filter after dry hopping from the fermenter to the keg...I made a simple voile filter which I attach to the transfer tube, run the wort to the keg all hop debris is collected...no problems. See attached picture...

I think this is a good request and should not be dismissed so lightly ! I think that the brewday should feature what individual brewers require and therefore editable, your looking for suggestions to improve...this is a good one.
