    gelatine coagulation in kegs

Actually I usually put gelatine into fermenters at 10 C, then cold crash to 2 C for 2 days then add more to keg before transferring from fermenter into keg. So not a great idea to put into keg as well ? Maybe too cold which causes coagulation ? Is something like Biofine or Polyclar not...

    gelatine coagulation in kegs

Maybe someone on the forum has the answer ? When I keg my beer, I cold crash my fermenters to +- 2 C. Next step is to clean and sanitise my kegs then add prepared gelatine finings which have been mixed and heated to 65 C. Then I gravity feed the beer into the keg. I then carbonate the kegs at...

    MULTI KEG CARBONATION QUESTION

Oh, and I forgot to ask. Would a 50 L keg carbonate as fast as a 20 l keg. Or would a 50 L keg take 2,5 times a long ? Do different shapes of kegs carbonate at different rates. Say a 30 L torpedo vs a 50 L sanke keg ?

    MULTI KEG CARBONATION QUESTION

Hoping someone here can give me a definitive answer. If I daisy chain 6 x 20 L kegs together, set the CO2 carbonation pressure at 15psi over 10 days, will all the kegs be equally as carbonated as if I had attached just one keg to the CO2 bottle at 15 psi over 10 days. And, would the length of...

    WHATS GOING ON ?

Seems to be fixed. Im not against experimentation/change/innovation/pushing the boundaries, as long as if there is hitch it is resolved with alacrity - which Brewers Friend has done. I'm happy. Good job.
