    That's really interesting, but I'm a little confused. Do you actually sparge, or just use the difference between the 22 qts and full boil quantity as "sparge?" In other words, if I used 30 qts on an 11# grist, I'd go ahead and start with 30 qts + absorption actually into the kettle, call it 22...
