I was under the impression that trub suspended in wort did not affect hydrometer readings. Well...it turns out that it does affect it a little bit. I stumbled upon this thread: http://www.homebrewtalk.com/showthread.php?t=519485

I just posted a recipe for an Arrogant Bastard clone. The recipe calculator lists the IBUs as 90, but the recipe search lists it at 83. Anyone know why they're different?

Gerry here, just checking in. I started using Brewer's Friend a couple months ago and I love it. I've been homebrewing since 1995 off and on, and recently returned after a rather lengthy hiatus. I finally started doing all-grain batches, and it's going well so far. Cheers!
