Strike water volume calculationis totally off (used to work)

Re: Strike water volume calculationis totally off (used to w Hi. Your example present an obvious problem: Example: Grain bill 4kg Starting Mash Thickness 3l/kg Strike water volume: 1.5 (shows same number despite whatever changes i make) However in the snap shot pictures the grain bill is some...

    Refractometer calculater vs ABV calculator

I think one of them assume that your final Brix reading is the adjusted (for alcohol) Brix value while the other assume that it is the real Brix reading and do the adjustment down to some Brix 3.3. I think the input field should be more specific by defining what Brix value to enter.

    Calculation of ABV

I just realised that in the brew session ABV calculator it interprets my Brix measurement as the "real" corrected (for alcohol) one. Hence the Brix 6.9 reading is converted to a final Sp.G of 1.028.

    Calculation of ABV

Fermentation have finished in two beers of mine. I entered the measured Brix and SG in the excel data sheet which calculated an estimated ABV of 6.3 based on original Brix of 13.5 and final Brix of 6.9 in one of the beers (ABV 5.3 in the other - see below). I entered the same readings in the...

    Entering data in "brew session"

Why cannot brew log data from the "All grain recipe template" (or any other template) be entered into the "brew session" to obtain reference calculations for efficiency and similar? The mashing timing cannot be entered as far as I can see?

    Brewing session

Tested out the brewing session and the brewhouse efficiency by entering data from my personal logg book. Three things which came out unexpected was: Times (clock) could not be entered (only date), but seemed to be locked into the current time for all entries. Ended up in totally wrong meshing...

    Scaling of recipe

So I found the scaling "button" and decided to double the batch. All ingredients doubled. Except for the amount of Belgian Wheat malt in the second entry of malts. This actually went down from 0.91 kg to 0.38 kg. Very strange. Is there a bug in the calculation?

    Scaling of recipe

This question is probably answered before, but my search were unsuccessful. After entering a recipe how can I scale it to a different batch size? Do I need to manually calculate and re-enter? kjk
