62% AA on Winter Warmer - Normal for recipe?

I'd add 1/2tsp of amylase enzyme. That should get you down to 1.015-1.020 in about a week to 1.5weeks

    Dry hopping in keg

when I hop in the keg, I leave them in there until it kicks. no off flavors at all and I swear the aroma doesn't fade as quickly. I have screens around my dip tubes so I can throw whole cone in "free range". When using pellets, I use a mesh bag.

    What is "Hop Back"

I do have my hop rocket connected directly to my CFC. The hot wort washes over the hops and then gets cooled to pitching temp immediatly after. I have no idea how much bitterness this adds, but probably little. I just treat them as zero minute additions. Love this site!!!

    Mosaic Hops?

i've brewed 2 IPA's this year with Mosaic. The first was a single hop and I found the hop to be extraordinary. It has aromatics on par with Citra and incredible complexity on it's own. It's kinda tough to describe, but it's very citrusy, tropical and blueberry-ish. The 2nd IPA was nearly all...

    What is "Hop Back"

I brew all my IPA's and APA's with my Hop Rocket. I brewed a Gumball Head clone last week and used it on that too. Prior to the hop rocket, I would always go heavy on flame out additions. I find the difference noticeable. I get this deep layer of hop flavor now that I wasn't getting...

    (DONE) hop summary

Re: hop summary ha - man I love this site! will this summarize each individual hop or just total ounces/grams? My latest recipe has like 4 or 5 different hops in it.

    (DONE) hop summary

I think it would be cool if a summary of hops required could be produced. I sometimes brew on my 3 gallons electric system. Since it is small, I use the metric feature and counting up all those grams for several hops is PITA! Just a thought :)

Reverse IBU calculation (in recipe builder)

The recipe builder already tells you how many IBU's a particular addtion will contribute, but I would like to enter the desired IBU and have it yield how many grams/ounces to yield that. That sure would be a helpful tool in building a beer to specs:) cheers, Jackson
