    Darn Good Dunkel

    Am very proud of this beer. Brewed as first wort batch with a companion Tangerine Sour using second runnings. Sour turned out good, but this Dunkel is one, if not the very best, of the several I've done.

    I brewed 2 lbs pilsner, 2 lbs 2-row and 4 lbs wheat and soured it with Imperial W25. No hops. And fermented at 65F with Kveik Lutra. Have the most marvelous tasting stuff. But, what is it? Not beer, Not gruit, what?

    Does cooling the wort to 35 degrees kill its fermentation?

    Brewed a brown ale. 10 days into fermentation I put the brew into my keezer at 35 degrees. Two days later I pulled the keg from the keezer to let it continue conditioning at room temperatures. Did the chill kill the yeast activity?
