    I store milled grain in a food-safe bucket with a tight lid in the coolest room of the house. I've never had a problem.

    Strike water temp suggested 182?

    Brewer's Friend is suggesting 182 F for my strike water temp in my infusion mash cooler. Is that because it is assuming I will not pre-heat the cooler? That's a full 30 degrees higher than my desired mash temperature.

    If I'm busy then I'll mash one day and brew the next--no problems. But if we're going to store wort longer than a day then I'd refrigerate it.
