It's a love - hate relationship. It has 2500W heating element under the bottom, and it's very easy to burn. I haven't noticed much damage to beer taste, but the kettle will shutdown if bunt mass exceed 150C (300F)

Have the same "problem". Thing is, that it calculates l/kg correctly. It just says "qt/lb" :)
