    I will try to answer this for you, the short answer is no to get 10 gallons of wort after a 60 minute boil you need to start with around 11.5 gallons so your going to want a pot bigger then 11.5 gallons to boil in, how big that is somewhat up to you I boil 13 gallons of wort in a 16 gallon...

    if you are going from a low gravity light beer to a high gravity dark beer imperial stout, royal imperial stout using the yeast cake more then likely would not be a problem anything else as stated wash and pitch part of the cake would be better S_M

    gravity readings will tell you where you are at if it is stable it is done Sunday until Tuesday to me is a bit to start fermenting but I always pitch lots of active yeast for me an ale goes from grain to glass in 14 days with a cold crash all the best S_M

    when I make cream ale I just use corn meal and minute rice from the store, I have used flaked corn and flaked rice I cannot tell the difference all the best S_M

    I am sure you do but if I cannot get to my recipes it makes it hard to brew them being that I am a System/Network Administrator/Engineer it never hurts to have a copy of your data as I tell clients all the time hardware is change in your pocket data is priceless the site appears to be working...

    that is true, but it can lead to a beer that is thin the higher mash temp will give your beer more body and mouth feel S_M

    how hot or cold you mash at will change things, so will how much water you use per pound of grain with SMaSH brews I mash at 156 for 60 minutes and for a dry cream ale I like 152 for 90 minutes good read thanks for putting it up all the best S_M

    if the air temp is 73 the wort temp could be 5 to 7 degrees higher so that could be a real problem 001 is I believe a chico strain which is US-05 and 05 gets nasty over 70 so be careful you may not like what it does all the best S_M
