    My first (IPA ish) attempt

Yeah mistakes were made that is for sure. I dry hopped it for a couple days and will be adding 1oz of extra sugar before bottling it a little early. I just tossed up my latest brew from last night if you wanna have a look.

My first attempt at a pale ale.

7 oz of hops is pretty wild to throw in at 60. I would try tossing in 1oz at 60min that should be enough bittering, and then save the rest for @10 min or flameout to punch up the aroma and flavor.

    Snowbear IPA V1.1

Hey all, So here is what I brewed last night, Its a bit different and I screwed up way less by not throwing 3 oz of hops in at 60min :( but we live and we learn. Here is what I got, would love to hear your thoughts. This is for a 5.5 gallon batch to ferment. Extract: 3.3lbs Briess Golden...

    Brew Kettle clogged screen

Ah ok just wanted to make sure I wasn't missing a step or anything. I'll just get a sock or a mesh spider basket for easy removal since the bazooka screen is somewhat useless. Cheers

    My first (IPA ish) attempt

We are all in this together! If my brew is going to be too bitter with my adding 3 oz at the start of the boil, should dry hopping help at all help remove some of that? or has that ship sailed?

    My first (IPA ish) attempt

Thanks Ozarks & Craigerr! Thanks for your input, I couldn't quite figure out the calculator since I didn't know what to fill out in a few of the later boxes. There wasn't much reasoning to the order of the hops I selected. I did decide to use the citra ones first since they had the higher AA%...

    My first (IPA ish) attempt

Decided to take a crack at something a little different than my normal pale ale. Below is what I brewed yesterday in my 5 gallon setup. I was considering possibly dry hopping for the first time on this batch. What do you all think? Thoughts and any general feedback is appreciated! Steeped 3lbs...
