    Brew Bubbles: Web-Enabled Airlock

Hey, just in case there was anyone interested in this, the offer stands and the support mechanism is as I stated in the original post. I've clicked the "unfollow thread" button and to be honest, I won't be back to the forums. I created something, gave it to the community, and then worked with...

    Brew Bubbles: Web-Enabled Airlock

Dude, there is no market! What part of "not for sale" are you not getting? I have no intention of monetizing this product. Do you think your feedback is somehow worth money? Free gift? Please, take it back and give it to one of your sycophants.

    Brew Bubbles: Web-Enabled Airlock

I've been brewing since early 1991. I've been a BJCP judge since the mid-90's (C0159) I'm not quite sure how to tell you differently that this is not for sale; it's something I developed and gave to the community for free

    Brew Bubbles: Web-Enabled Airlock

When I make my wine and mead I tend to let nature do its thing. With beer, I enjoy the technical challenge of not only making good beer but reproducing that. One of the most interesting discussions I had a while back was with some of the guys at AHB. We all make fun of Bud Light, but I'll bet...

    Brew Bubbles: Web-Enabled Airlock

I have built spunding valves - but I've just never used them. It's a psychological victory at best to rack off the lees, and at worst potentially harmful if done carelessly, but I still do it. :) I've been brewing since '91 and it's worked so far. Still ... I might want to do it so there they...

    Brew Bubbles: Web-Enabled Airlock

You guys are cracking me up. I'll address a couple of things: Plaato has, by measuring bubble count with an optimized airlock, been able to keep remarkably accurate gravity and fermentation characteristics and trending. I don't think an S-lock is "optimized" however I am very sure the...

    Brew Bubbles: Web-Enabled Airlock

That’s a bold statement which ignores science. Don’t tell the Plaato guys that. There definitely is a hard correlation between CO2 emitted and alcohol produced. Whether a given airlock setup can be counted upon to deliver uniform (and thereby volumetrically quantifiable) bubbles is another...

    Brew Bubbles: Web-Enabled Airlock

I almost forgot! Thorrak on HBT has recently released BrewFlasher, a small application that makes it quite a bit easier for folks to flash the firmware. It supports several ESP-8266 and ESP32 projects (including Brew Bubbles.) It is available on GitHub as well as (soon) BrewFlasher.com. If...

    Brew Bubbles: Web-Enabled Airlock

We're 54 years old ... we're allowed to be snarky. ;) This project exists for several reasons: If you do a web search you will find a great many aborted projects which do this. I say "aborted" because they all seem to finish with "let's see what you can do with this" or "you can customize the...

    Brew Bubbles: Web-Enabled Airlock

Release Announcement: v1.0.1 - Timers and Bracket The biggest visible change for this release is to the bracket. @matridium (on HBT) was instrumental in getting me going on this whole project which is something I should have put in the first post. His questions in another thread inspired me...

    Brew Bubbles: Web-Enabled Airlock

I just did a Google search: That seems to be pretty important to many homebrewers. Nobody agrees what's "right," and about all the Internet can do is help you pass the time in between trips to stare at the airlock. Wouldn't it be great if someone made something to tell you when your airlock...

It’s an answer, thank you. :)

    API Key Length

Be really nice if I had some direction on key length. Is it always < 64 characters? Always < 128? Surely there's some definition in the software? It looks hexadecimal, is that just a coincidence or is it a string of hex values?

    API Key Length

Thank you sir. Is there a definition I can apply which would be correct? Working in C on a microcontroller so saving space is pretty important.

    API Key Length

Is the API key length fixed at 40?
