St. Louis beers not to buy

Logboat was pivotal in changing the laws around small breweries in MO. Effectively made it possible for them to live and thrive. I enjoyed Snapper the handful of times I had it before I left for CO. But for what they did for small breweries in that state I think I'd just two-thumb-up anything...

    Best Ipa in Colorado

Just moved to Denver last week and the number of local breweries within walking distance is insane. I feel like I moved to paradise.

First time kegger - flat foamy beer - NOOOooooooooo!!

I'm a little jealous. Where does one inquire about purchasing one of these magically-infused regulators/manifolds?

First time kegger - flat foamy beer - NOOOooooooooo!!

I've had a new sixlet sitting at 30psi in my kegerator for about 24 hours now. Should I be lowering the psi to 10-12 and burping it at this point to get it adjusted?

    Canning process

When canning your homebrew, do you add priming sugar or is it more like force carbonating a keg, but on an obviously smaller scale?

    SMaSH Nugget IPA

Looking at doing another SMaSH so I can learn more about what the various malts and hops do to a beer. Last time I used Citra and Otter and it worked out very well. This time I was thinking of using Nugget hops and doing 2.5oz pellets at 60min, 1.5oz at 30min and 2.0oz at 5min, followed by 2oz...

Problems With Kegerator (or the parts)

Oh yeah, I'm feeling like maybe I need my own thread, "You know you did like Archibald when..." :D

Problems With Kegerator (or the parts)

OK, I am not too proud to admit what an idiot I am! One of my cutoff valves was in the off position. o_O

Problems With Kegerator (or the parts)

When I pull the piece to release the c02, it was the faintest whisper. Which I assume means I'm not getting co2 into the kegs anymore for some reason. I suppose I could bypass the little piece that splits the gas off to two kegs and just tape one direct for the time being to figure out what's...

Problems With Kegerator (or the parts)

Pardon my ignorance but how does one clean this crud away when there is beer in the kegs?

Problems With Kegerator (or the parts)

It is homebrew. The first glasses poured had sediment but then ran "clear." I inspected the beer lines and they don't look clogged or mucked up. I have a portable ball lock tap I put on one of the sixlets and it poured a little better, then ran dry like the "normal" taps.

Problems With Kegerator (or the parts)

I tapped a couple of sixlets a week or so back and things went well. Then the flow became a trickle and eventually stopped completely. It was suggested I froze the beer, so I turned the fridge off and left the door open for 24 hours. I poured a beer about 16 hours later and got a less than...

What are you drinking right now?

Whoa! And howdy! I lived in Chico many years ago and have maintained my collection of every glass I could buy. The dishwasher has played hell on some of them, but I'm a SN junkie for sure.

What are you drinking right now?

My latest (and second) brew of my own. SMaSH, otter and citra, in an old SN glass.

New to Kegging and Kegerators Question

Thanks to all! I poured my first glass about 20 minutes ago and it is exactly what I was shooting for. It's a SMaSH (otter and citra), so nothing complicated, but it held up. I was worried the citra hops would betray me and give me a "grass" taste, but they served me well and I've got a nice...

New to Kegging and Kegerators Question

Hello, and thanks ahead for any assistance. I brewed 10 gallons and kegged it into two 5 gallon kegs, sealed them up and set them in a cool (72 degrees) closet for about 14 days. Then I bought a kegerator, because I am backwards I suppose. I tapped the first keg today, first applying the ball...
