    Kegged beer to Bottles

I use a 5 Liter growler - put my leftovers in that and purge it with CO2. Then I can use a party tap to drink some or just set it off to the side in my keezer. You can also get a couple of 3 gallon kegs and use those to the same effect. Cheers!

    Who has good keezer advice?

I built my keezer 2 years ago and never looked back. I use duotight everything and a Kegland Mk III regulator. I have 4 duotight secondaries mounted to a board and the primary coming in at 30 PSI. My secondaries are at various pressures - mostly to support a low pressure stout, higher pressure...

    Hello, fellow Brewing Adventurers!

Thanks - I'm still experimenting...and building a better brewing system. I recently posted some new recipes - feel free to critique, I'm learning as we go. The best beer I did recently was probably the Harrison's Brewery Vacant Gesture - I got the balance just right. I also an happy with the ESB...

    Hello, fellow Brewing Adventurers!

I follow Dr. Hans and Gash Slug - they are great. The guy that got me into brewing though was really Tom Watson (New To HomeBrew Tom) and his pal, Chris Harrison Hawkes (Harrybrew69). David Heath is a professional brewer as is Chris Hawkes. I am fortunate to be outside Atlanta, Georgia and have...

How sweet is too sweet (for a finish?)

I just posted a new recipe (Pataskala Minor) that is a take on Stone Brewing - "Pataskala". Same hops, Same Red X malt plus Goldswaen. Predicted finish is 1.023 with 50+ IBUs. I'm concerned about balance, but hate a very bitter beer. Any ideas? I have not brewed it yet, but I have a few brews...

Partial Mash Brewer (?) seeking to upgrade to all grain

In addition to the excellent information already imparted above, I submit another way to get precise temp control for all grain is using a Sous Vide probe. It is less cleaning and fewer issues than using a mash tun, in my opinion. It can be used to make strike water, clean and delabel bottles...

How many sachets is too many?

So, it's been a few weeks...how did this end? Thanks! (Full disclosure, I have an interest in doing a High Gravity brew, like Dragon's Milk, so this is good knowledge to have...And I never rehydrate, but I also never do large batches. I do add Yeast Nutrient in every batch, but I don't...

    Brew Demon

I've used (3 gallon) Brew Demon for a couple of years. It is durable and easy to clean. I'm not a fan of the location of the spigot, and I have thought about getting one of those keg floats and hooking that up to the tap - then I can draw the beer off, clean, all the way down to the trub...

    Hello, fellow Brewing Adventurers!

My name is Jeff, I have been brewing small batch for about 2 years. I wasn't a big beer drinker for most of my life because I thought it all was rather like the American lager staples. Not much taste or flavor. Then one day, quite by accident, I bought a craft brew from a smaller brewhouse. I...
