I've tried several times to change my settings to use the alternate ABV equation, but nothing seems to actually use it. My current fermentation shows this: When I use the ABV Calculator, Standard gives me 5.38%, and Alternate gives me 5.52% Here's my current brew if that's useful

I'm considering making yeast starters from the same wort that I'll pitch the yeast into. My typical pattern is to build a yeast starter the night before and pitch the whole thing. I read that can affect the beer flavor a bit since I'm pitching about 5% of my total volume with a different beer...

It's pretty outdated and updates are minimal. I was just wondering what the plans are.
