    Bottle Carbonation with Brown Sugar?

    Anyone ever done it? Any reason not to? Have a Belgian Quad/Dubbel that I'm thinking about trying it with. Definitely wouldn't do it with a Pilsner or the like, but darker beers (e.g. Stout, Porter, etc.) might benefit from that flavor.

    Sanitize fail...

    So I forgot to sanitize my secondary fermenter (keg) before racking a 14% abv RIS. I also added whiskey soaked barrel staves at the same time. It's going to sit on those staves for about 1 month. Question is, do i have a problem?
