    Attenuation calculator is annoying

I posted this in the "feature request" forum, but maybe I should post it here, given that it's actually a "feature removal request". I'm surprised that no one paid attention to my post. Doesn't anyone else find this really annoying? Since when did 75% stop meaning 75%? Since when did "custom"...

    attenuation calculator - nonsensical

I've noticed that now mash temperature affects the final gravity. This is fine and makes perfect sense as an additional calculation. HOWEVER, I find it a bit nonsensical that the attenuation changes regardless of whether the user has already specified "custom attenuation". In most of my...

    Customizable Brew Steps

Yes, that would be great. I would also remove a lot of steps that I (personally) don't need to be reminded of, like checking valves are closed and cleaning equipment. Actually, I usually just skip all the steps right up to the mash and ignore the steps after the boil is complete.

    site slow and off-line

This is annoying me as well. The low speed is also giving me problems saving recipes.

    First wort hopping?

I support either giving the option to the user to set their own IBU from FWH, or to calculate it as a full boil addition (maybe even +10%, or something). It appears to me that the consensus is that the IBUs from FWH are greater or equal to a full boil addition (regarding tested IBUs). The lack...

    (RESOLVED) Scaling other people's recipes.

Re: Scaling other people's recipes. Ah, you are right. I thought the only way to do this was by clicking on the brew button. Thanks.

    (RESOLVED) Scaling other people's recipes.

Scaling other people's recipes for personal inspection without having to click on "Brew -> create a snapshot -> scale" (because one doesn't necessarily want to actually brew it). This feature is not in my priorities, but it would be nice nonetheless. Umoyk

    Custom color

Kettle caramelization can add quite a lot of colour. Actually, in some of my recipes I follow Randy Mosher's suggestion of taking a small part of the first wort and boiling it separately until reduced and caramelised. Beer in which I have done this can be quite darker than the colour calculated...

(DONE) Take inventory into account for shopping list

Re: Take inventory into account for shopping list I agree. It would be cool to have an "add up" function in the shopping list, so that if the same grain appears in various recipes it can be seen as appearing only once. A function "compare with inventory" would work synergistically with the add...
