Lagering not layering...dam auto type

I just wired up another freezer for layering, so in 2019 I'm go na brew some lager. Probably brew 150 gallons of ales this past year. Ready for to add to my experience...cheers

I'd think it's the Maris Otter, I do a smash ale with that grain and it's a very strong smelling and tasting grain

Used my first starter on my mosiac otter smash, it was a 1L with light dme and wlp 001. Been 4 days and its still rolling. Brewing a nana hefe next week and will try another with bavarian wheat dme and wlp300

Ya it doesnt happen with every beer and when it does it still tatste good and is carbonated but no head or lacing....better pbw my bottles before next time. My keg beers head seems fine

When i keg, after fermenting is done, i put the beer in my smaller 5 gal carboy and cold crash in the keezer overnight. Mine is at 3C and then jus like @hawk

I've only done one so far, the all grain zombie dust, but it so good and everyone likes it so i keep brewing it

Never did much wiring but stc 1000 was simple and the keezer is steady dropping....:)
