    Should I care about efficiency?

    im 74 to 76 % using brewers edge system - kinda a biab type electric. i could improve it by modification of the kettle to recirculate but im good with 75%. system is easy to run. no need to worry . consistency is more important and finding the right settings and grain milling process.

    I've had good luck with 1/4# honey malt for 5 gallons. Even 2 oz adds a subtle honey flavor another option is 1 pound Carared its 20L but has has more fermentables than crystal but leaves a rich malt taste less sweart use 1/2 to 1 pound

    i just use simple 6 gallon brewcraft 6 gallon bucket with lid. i cover the grommet airlock gasket hole with a small glass bowl and spray it and area with star san. i xfer to carboy after a few days

    Single i do a European style cooling. IE after boil I siphon my piping hot wort into my primary fermenter and let it cool overnight or till it hits pitching temp. Late hop additions 15 minutes or less are not adding much aroma more like hop bittering. I've now got to treat them as hop-stands...
