SWAMBO and I had a very nice evening with Mr and Mrs JA last night. Thanks for the hospitality and if you're in Denver, make sure we know. I'm looking forward to trying some of his beers! Austin Beer Garden is a nice place to have a beer, too, particularly this time of year when the weather is pleasant. We also visited Live Oak brewing with some homebrew club members woh who moved to Austin earlier this year. Both breweries were solid but I preferred Live Oak, more varieties and some riskier beers. Nothing to weird but a Gose, a Grodziskie, a smoked Marzen. We've enjoyed the trip and home is sounding good right about now.
