ABV alternate equation not being used

I've tried several times to change my settings to use the alternate ABV equation, but nothing seems to actually use it.

My current fermentation shows this:

OG: 1.054 0.004 ↑
FG: 1.013 0 ↓
ABV: 5.4 0.35 ↑

When I use the ABV Calculator, Standard gives me 5.38%, and Alternate gives me 5.52%

Here's my current brew if that's useful

Switch it in the actual recipe, then save. The change will stick. Click the "More" button to the right of the statistics. From the additional information panel, you can select what equations to use for about four main variables: Color, ABV, bitterness and I can't think of the other.

That was already set to Alternate. I changed it to Standard, saved, clicked "view" and verified there was no change. Changed it back to Alternate, saved, clicked "view" and verified that it still hasn't changed. Just to clarify, this is the one you're talking about, right?

That's it. It seems to work for me. Have you tried editing your profile? That won't work for past recipes but it will for any new ones.
