250g Crystal Malt (50) steeped in 3lt for 30mins @75c
1ltr Sparge @ 65 deg
20g Super Pride @ 45mins
15g Galaxy @ 10mins
20g Galaxy @ F0
Top up with filtered water to 15lt and chill cube to 18c
Top up to 21lt
15g Morgans American Ale yeast rehydrated
OG 1043
Day 6 dry hop with 30g of Galaxy to preserve as much aroma as possible... there’s a clear oil slick looking film on top ... Gravity is now at 1012 and it tastes brilliant and hoping this is just hop oil but I am concerned. I’m not game to open again for a photo. Any feedback welcome.
