Dry Hop: Days Question

For hop additions of type="Dry Hop", the time unit changes from min to days.

For my question, let's say days=7 for a particular hop addition.

What is the intended use for that duration:
  1. 7 days after pitching yeast?
  2. 7 days before cold-crash/packaging?
  3. 7 days after primary fermentation?

I think it means 7 days in the fermentor, but I don't know if it includes days cold crashing.
 
yep i recon 7 days in contact with the beer in whatever stage its in. if im dry hopping i wait to fermentation as almost done then drop mu dry hop charge in and count from there untill packaged.
