Brew Log confusion

Ok I'm a little confused, I am a new brewer. Yesterday I brewed a batch and used the brew BF software for the first time, I liked it, But recording it the brew log I have a question.
Mash complete volume, is this the total volume of wort that is in the kettle? It would be the pre-boil volume?
