After a lot of reading ( this forum and Palmers How to brew) I just tasted my very first home brew which was a simple all grain wheat recipe and I am hooked!! I would like to thank everyone that contributes there knowledge and experience to folks like me to help with my new hobby. Hopefully tomorrow will be another successful brew day. My first batch was 2.5 gal with 20 ounces of 2 row pale malt, 20 ounces of white wheat malt, .07 oz magnum at 60 min and .07 oz Simcoe at 10 min with Safale S05 yeast. Tomorrow will be a 3.5 gallon batch which 3 of it will go in a 3 gallon keg. This is the recipe I plan on using, any input would be greatly appreciated.
3.82 lb American - Pale 2-Row 37 1.8 64.9%
1.59 lb American - White Wheat 40 2.8 27%
0.32 lb Flaked Wheat 34 2 5.4%
0.16 lb Canadian - Honey Malt 37 25 2.7%
5.89 lb Total

Welcome to the fold!

Is that the same recipe that was posted in the recipe feedack section? Once again, drop the 5 min Magnum, and sub simcoe or cascade.

Sorry, I copied the wrong recipe over. The 5 min magnum has been replaced with 5 min cascade. Thanks Larrry
