How are all your hops doing that you're growing?

No. Well, maybe. I took (with permission) about 1/2 pound of cones. So I helped them do a little less work...

I specifically didnt plant any corn or sunflowers in front. This year I'm crossing my fingers for a better turn out.

Most of the cones look ready I've got some late buds comming but I'm thinking about picking them soon.

Yeah SE QLD is far from hop growing region in Aus.
That's Victoria and back in the day South West WA oh and Tasmania.

But it bears a few cones for me to play around with.

If I grew an Australian hop like pride of ringworm maybe it'd go even better .

Whatcha gunna string em up on Ward?

I feel like we need a few hop trellis Ideas?

Mines just an old pool pole wired to a star picket here.
I string all the bines on that then wire it in place on the star picket and use tent pegs to pin the jute twine to the ground for the bines to climb.
