I visited a brewery today!

Had a couple flight sizes at the kingmaker brewery while working

Young Veterans Brewing Co - Virginia Beach

What a week to be in VA Beach. Temps pushing 100F.
Nice to have a pool, ocean and some great craft brew handy though. Why I didn’t buy one of those awesome pineapple grenade shirts remains a mystery. Hopefully I’ll get back there soon.

Now you're in my neck of the woods! It's been a few years since I went to Virginia Beach, but it's only 2 hours away

Coming from PA, we entered VA from the side door, coming down the Eastern Peninsula and over the Bay Bridge Tunnel. We usually stay a bit south in Sandbridge, but decided this time to stay a little closer to the action. Fine by me, more breweries close by. We should be heading to New Realm in a few days! I love that place.

I think there are a ton of new breweries down there I've never even heard of! I remember Back Bay brewing was decent...and there was a great burger place on the boardwalk called Lagerheads

New Realm Brewing.

I love this place. Great beer, great food, super cool atmosphere.

Live music. No idea who it was, but they were decent.

Down the road a piece from @Donoroto and myself. Great place. If you have the time, try Sweetwater. No too far from there. Although it’s a lot more mainstream since being purchased by a Canadian cannabis company, it was the original brewery that really kicked off the ATL craft beer scene. Good taproom and outdoor space.

Damn those Canadians and their Cannabis:rolleyes:

Went to Dogfish Head Brewery in Milton. Had a flight, SO got a mudslide with Dogfish Head rum, and a friend got a pint of sour. We got to see the distillery equipment, which was pretty cool. First pic is one of their batch stills, and the 2nd is a continuous column still. A good trip! I picked up some bottles of aged sours to add to the cellar

Did you go into the treehouse?

Hey you're just just 90 minutes west of me! I never ate there but they do have good beer. And when you are in Wisconsin, beer and cheese are indeed mandatory! Good choice on the fried Cheese Curds!

In Eau Claire right now at The Brewing Project. This is a cool city too and overall the wife and I are really enjoying WI on our first visit to to the state.
