Just read this article by Scott Janish on the beffits of dry hopping for shorter durations at colder temps.

Makes a lot of sense to me, going to try it in a week or so, when my "Putin Hyulo" hits fg. I'll cold crash and then hold the beer at 34oF, dry hop with 2oz of Crystal for 24 hours, rack, prime and bottle. Changed it up just a bit, instead of pitching it with US-05, I used WLP800 Pilsen Lager yeast. The idea is to get somewhere more in the neighborhood of a dry hopped Helles(not a Belgian fan).

If I'm understanding the article, should end up with less astringency and better head retention, pretty interested to see how it works.
