IF you brew, you must also grill

Finally pulling the trigger on a Weber Genesis

Question - side burner or no? Worth $100?

I have had the Genesis for years with no side burner and I do not miss it. If I were to ever need the side burner I would pull out my brewing burner.

Plus, it is nice to have the extra shelf.

Now that I am really thinking about it, invest the $100 in a rotisserie, you will use it more often.

I know its not environmentally/politically correct these days but I like charred food, I create flair ups on purpose by pouring beer on the meat lol "good use of not the best brew" lol

I have a Weber grill and a Rec Tec pellet smoker. With the technology of today, you can grill and smoke with a pellet smoker. It's the best of both worlds. The food comes out MUCH better on a smoker (pizzas are amazing on the smoker!!!!!!). I use my Weber now when the in-laws come for a visit. The Rec Tec allows you to set the tempt and you can then go make a batch of beer. They are fool proof. You will not be sorry if you got one of these cookers.
