this is part a request and a question so to speak, if we fill out our yeast information and see the target yeast cell count and go through the calculator and do what is needed to meet the number of cells, does it change the final gravity one way or another and can we some how tie that in to the gravity system either by a warning or changing the final gravity based on not meeting the cells needed ? what are your thoughts

also a warning based on gravity, how many units of yeast are needed for this batch with or without a starter and meeting the target or not on the recipe. this is a rather tricky thing to do but bringing the yeast calculator results into the recipe editor

Another option is to have the yeast starter calculator as another tab in the brew session. Sort of like the mash calculator and the water chemistry. This allows you to customize it for each brew session as the freshness of the yeast will likely be different for each brew session.
