What are you drinking right now?

Meet an attractive Belgian: First pour of my Dark Farmhouse Lager, as yet unnamed. Her pedigree: https://www.brewersfriend.com/homebrew/recipe/view/818522/dark-farmhouse-lager

She's a buxom girl at 7.5%. But very drinkable. She's complex, chocolaty with prominent banana-clove and caramel malt, bright raspberry esters and bitterness firm enough to invite another sip...

If you can't tell, I'm pretty proud of this beer.

German?
Bauerntochter
She's French-Flemish. No idea what Farmer's Daughter is in Flemish. La Fille du Fermier has a ring to it...

If I ever do a German Farmhouse style, Bauerntochter ist ihre Name.

It's come out great, really pleased with it. These are the beers that flick my switch, I feel that they're a contemporary take on a real traditional beer.

The googles says de dochter van de boer. Sounds like the name for a South Aftrican sausage.
