Hi
I made my first recipe ever, for an Irish red ale using BJCP style guidelines. Nothing fancy.
Just curious if this could be about right? Hope I got the conversion from metric system to US system right.

Rogers Irish Red

6.5 gallon
OG: 1055-1060.
IBU: 25-26
SRM: 18'ish?

Grain Bill:
8.8lbs Pale Malt EBC: 6,5-8,5
4.4lbs Red X EBC: 28-32
0.88lbs Caramel Malt light EBC: 30

Hop Bill:
0.88oz 5.8% East Kent Golding (60 min) Pellets
0.52oz 5.8% East Kent Golding (30 min) Pellets
1oz 4.3% AA Fuggles (10 min) Pellets

WLP004 Irish Ale Yeast.

150-151F mash temp for 1,5 hour.
Boil for 1 hour.

Batch Size: 11.5 gallons (fermentor volume)
Boil Size: 13 gallons
Boil Gravity: 1.046 (recipe based estimate)
Efficiency: 75% (brew house)

OG 1.051 Final Gravity: 1.013 ABV (standard): 5.07% IBU (tinseth): 22.04 SRM (morey): 17.44

9 lb American - Vienna
16 oz American - Roasted Barley
16 oz American - Caramel / Crystal 40L
22 lb Total

mash at 150 with 1.33 quart 60 min.

big pitch of top cropped 05 at 64 - 65 F
