What is Gjærnering?

Tried a bit of clueless google Norwegian translating... if you add a space before the ring you get 'please call'. Probably not relevant.

This one is probably closer - https://translate.google.com/transl...aerstarter-problemer.41474/page-2&prev=search. Where it comes across as 0.5 teaspoon fermentation (expired date). So maybe yeast nutrient?

Hopefully someone with actual Norwegian answers. And they could explain how you put a space in the word and it becomes please call vs yeast nutrient. Or you could post to that forum (https://forum.norbrygg.no).

I did the same Google hunt & I think it's a joke. You know like "Get me a sky hook down at City Supply."
A Wild Goose Chase.
It worked!

Oh it's yeast nutrient. What I've seen is to throw it in with 10 minutes left to make sure it gets mixed up and sterilized. No idea if it makes a real different or not.
