Nice thread and pic!

Just had some garlic soy sauce chicken breasts. No pic unfortunately.

The wife makes some damn fine chicken and dumplings, I'll have to post a pic the next time

Yeah. Not a hunter. I'm a gatherer!

Haha, you still have to hunt for a good deal at the grocery store?

Meat is meat, mmmmm

Nah, my wife gets it for me! :p

Meat is not meat !
I'm happy to pay more at a decent butcher shop run by a cranky old Greek bloke for quality animal parts , coming into spring here so fresh lamb is on the menu .
Bought some lamb shanks and argued about them
Bought some backstrap and had a beer
bought a mix of veal / pork mince for a dish from home then had a shot of ouzo ...Gonna miss that old bugger when he dies

i refuse to eat any animal i wouldn't shoot in the face , my favourites are the ones happy to eat me if they could ie Croc ,shark and pig .

P.S i can also eat both of the animals on our coat of arms

ok this is all home made, boil and debone the chicken and make the noodles from scratch, it takes all day to make it this way, I choose to eat it the next day it seems to be better

Smoked pork butt 5lb bone in

2 tbls each

Minced garlic
Mustard
Vinegar
Salt
Pepper
Chopped cilantro fresh
Cumin
Olive oil

Rub on pork butt and smoke as usual, fall of the bone.
It will look burnt when it's done, enjoy with a nice pilsner.

Damn, that looks tasty. I just did a chicken paella last night. And a burrito for lunch today.
