Hi everybody
Is there a calculator to compensate the hops amount if I buy the same hop in recipe but with different alpha acid unit?
Thank you

I just change it in the recipe. At least, that's the calculator you're looking for.

Pick your hops from the drop down menu and just change the # in the AA% box

Of course
Sorry I mean
How to know automatically how much hop I need to have the same ibu if I use a different aa hop?
I change hop quantity manually to but I think could be useful a calculator to do it without go "random"

On my desktop I have a saved link to a hops chart , shows substitute and average AA% with flavour notes

If I'm subbing a hop in a recipe I'll just change my weights to get same IBUs
Be aware that different co humalone levels affect how you perceive the bitterness though

That's where the art and science of brewing take hold , until you get the experience feel free to ask on this forum for advice
